Frequently asked questions:

  • Team managers will receive an email confirmation from EuroWorld Sports Ltd confirming your team has been entered into the competition. Please check you have entered the correct age group.

  • We know you will be anxious to know your opposition! But … we do not want to spoil the fun! All teams will be revealed when fixtures are published approximately 2 weeks before the 1st kick off.

  • Fixtures are usually available 2 weeks before the tournament start. We will email team managers to inform them.

  • Unfortunately our venues do not allow dogs on site. Please keep your four legged friends at home. Back seat of a car is not a pleasant day for a dog.

  • Please email us with a list of your players with dates of birth. We will confirm which age group is most suitable for your team.

Here is a practical check-list to help you to prepare your tour:

 

FIRST THINGS FIRST!

International Teams - Apply for a permission from your National Football Federation/Association

  • English Teams - Advice your County FA Affiliation Number

  • Appoint a contact person in your club

  • Arrange your travel documents (Passports, Visas, travel insurance)

Notify us about:

  • Updated number of persons travelling - we understand circumstances may change, please keep us up-to-date with your latest numbers.

  • TEAM REGISTRATION SHEETS - complete and submit as soon as possible to confirm you have entered the correct age group, by 1st July 2023 latest. This helps us to prepare a great football tournament for all teams involved. You can amend your team sheets, please bring your latest version with you to the tournament check-in before your first kick off.

  • DISPENSATION REQUESTS - please inform our office about any overaged players before the tournament, we will provide a dispensation where appropriate. This can only be done before the tournament start.

  • TRAVELLING TEAMS - accommodation rooming lists should be with us by 1st July 2023 latest (Include special dietary requirements and allergies - Vegetarian, nut-free, Halal, etc.)

  • IF USING TRANSPORT ORGANISED BY EUROWORLD SPORTS - please advise your place and time of departure

Discuss with your team:

  • Your full programme

  • Your departure point and general rules for drop off

  • The amount of luggage allowed/required and items that should be left at home

  • Keeping the bus tidy and behaviour expected while on bus (no smoking, no alcohol, respect the driver etc.)

  • Changing money

  • Rules of conduct on the sports grounds and at accommodations

  • Arrangement of rooms and hotel facilities (restaurant available, meal arrangements including allergies, drinks (not) included, leaving rooms tidy upon departure, respect other guests, ...)

  • Contact person at home for each participant

  • The date of your last meeting before your team's departure

Avoid theft!

  • Do not leave valuables behind, in view, in your car or bus

  • Do not leave passports/money/expensive items in your room

  • At the sports grounds, place all valuables in a "safety bag" and appoint a person to look after this bag

What to Bring:

THE TEAM LEADER:

  • Mobile phone - please provide EuroWorld Sports with a mobile phone number that will be available during your visit to Manchester Easter International Cup

  • First Aid Kit

  • "Safety Bag" to store valuables while on sports grounds

  • Pennants, Souvenirs etc.

  • Copy of participants list

  • Proofe of age for each player (League ID Cards, copy of passports)

  • Some club money for case of emergency

  • Your team's travel information

ALL PARTICIPANTS (INCLUDING LEADERS):

  • Personal sports kit, tracksuit etc.

  • Football boots suitable for type of pitch on which games will be played

  • Passport and/or visas (if required)

  • Everyday clothes

  • Waterproof jacket

  • Toiletries + we recommend you bring your own towel

  • Spending money

  • Food/drinks for consumption on route. Re-fillable water bottles.

Payments:

We are unable to collect payments at the venue!
